It might be best (cheaper) just to replace the broken part. If you like your Hamilton beach food processor, there is always a possibility your model could be discontinued, especially if you have had it a long time. But there is a good possibility that HB still carries the replacement parts that go with it.
One replacement part that is often overlooked, but is highly needed is the food processor belt. It probably is similar to a belt on a vacuum cleaner bag. And you know what happens when that belt break. But don’t worry. Belts are not hard to get and they are quite inexpensive. A food processor belt only costs $7.99. So it would make sense to replace the belt, rather than replace 
the food processor.
There are several parts that go with a food processor. One of the parts that needs to be replaced periodically due to breakage or overuse is the bowl. Some bowls are made of hard plastic and come with a handle. Some bowls are made of glass. You can see how a glass bowl could easily be dropped when a cook gets busy in the kitchen. And once that happens, it isn’t a catastrophe, but it is an inconvenience.
Don’t despair, go to the store where you bought your Hamilton Beach food processor. They may be able to order the part for you. More than likely you have information that came with your appliance, so be sure to put that in a safe place and don’t forget where you put it. And with a food processor, it is almost always a good idea to replace the part rather than the appliance. Most discs come in sizes of 2mm, 3mm, or 6mm. Some discs come in sets whereas some discs are sold individually.

It should be fairly easy to replace any of Hamilton Beach Food processor parts. So if you love your food processor, be sure to take good care of its parts. When something happens to one of those parts, your best bet is to replace it, then get back to slicing, dicing, chopping, and shredding.
