This type of double prams & pushchairs is ideal as it is the same width as a normal pram, making it easy to steer and fit through doorways and it can also stop your children from fighting if they are prone to do so when sitting next to each other. This particular model has a removable seat enabling it to be turned into a normal pram when your older child is ready for walking, making it even more flexible.
The Phil and Teds Explorer is convertible into three different positions. You can use it as a single 
pushchair which is ideal when you are pregnant with only one child to push around and also when your older child starts to walk; For a toddler and newborn the pram can be configured so the older child sits in the front seat and the baby is underneath, reclined in a flat position; It is also possible to use for two toddlers by fitting the two seats in a sitting position.
The main downside of this pram would be that many parents do not like putting their younger child in the lower seat where they cannot see anything except the back of the seat in front. This can also be a problem when the baby grows bigger as they are not able to sit up properly.
Overall however this is an excellent pram for parents of two young children that is attractive, easy to maneuver and good value for money, despite being more expensive than some other models of double pram.
