It cannot be denied that platic toy army men have a great impact on American culture with their presence in movies such as from the movie series Toy Story where it can be seen that Andy, the boy who is the owner of the toys, playing with them as an aid for protagonist Woody to save Bo Peep from the clutches of the evil Mr. Potato. There are also snacks molded in the likeness of army men such as the gummy army men candy.

They even have made it through the virtual world through computer and video games such as the Army Men series by 3DO and Global Star Software. America regards their soldiers with high respect, and every little boy has a tiny dream inside of him to one day serve and protect his motherland.
