I had always dreamt of having a top-notch development environment in my Web start-up.
That’s when one of my friends introduced me to IKEA. The moment I heard about IKEA, I just had this desire of giving it a try. So, that’s me and my friends went to IKEA, in Zurich, and bought an awesome Galant Desk with a black glass top and a Joakim Swivel chair, with bluish grey upholstery.
The moment I installed it on a corner of our company, it was just dazzling. I brought some indoor plants and a carpet to add in to the décor. It was just amazing. The table went very well with my iMac, laptop and the PC.
I use the table as a workstation in my office. It has been really useful as we have a couple of developers who vary in Height. Some of our guys are tall and the table is quickly adjusted using the expandable T-Leg. I always had the problem of cables running here and there over the floor, which made it look like a mess.
So, I went in to Ikea and bought a cable channel made of steel and got it fixed to the table. It just solved the problem of messy cables in 
a giffy. We had a lot of visitors who were really impressed the way the table, the chair, the plants etc… was perfectly matched with the surroundings. A lot of them very much interested in the table and were referred to IKEA.
Now we have Ikea Galant Tables and Joakim Chairs all around the office. Recently I have placed an order for 6 more Galant Tables and Joakim Chairs for our office in India. What I like about the Galant Tables that they look classy, it is highly durable and the height is adjustable.
They also have accessories that serve all purposes of an Office Workstation and that too for a very reasonable price. The Joakim chairs are very comfortable and can be adjusted to give an upright posture for whoever sits on it so that its strain less while working with computer systems.
Fortunately, I have to say that I haven’t come across any drawbacks with the Galant Tables or the Joakim Chairs, ever since I have started using them and I am pretty sure that it wouldn’t happen anytime soon.
I am a very happy and satisfied IKEA product owner.
